My wife and I recently bought a house in Bend out near Shevlin Park with Tiffany Vasquez as our buyer’s representative. I have many good things to say about Tiffany as an agent. She’s an effective and eager communicator, both with her clients and with other agents. She knows her local real estate markets inside out. She’s a nice person, friendly and a pleasure to interact with. But among her many desirable qualities, Tiffany’s headline is her commitment to serving your interests. Potential for conflict of interests between real estate agents and their clients is a well known issue, inherent in how contracts are structured. Many agents are very good at appearing to serve your interests but prioritize their own. Tiffany Vasquez, though, could not have been more committed to our fiduciary interests. My wife and I are serious people experienced in major transactions, both personally and professionally. Tiffany bent over backwards to be certain that on all levels what we wanted was being fastidiously represented and negotiated for. She took the time to understand our needs and desires in Bend, and showed us a range of truly appropriate choices, not just random properties on the market in a price range. Once we picked a potential property, she moved quickly and decisively, creating an offer and negotiating on our behalf with a concern for our outcome that truth be told exceeded what we would have done for ourselves. On walk-throughs of the property her eye was incredibly tuned to details and construction issues – honestly she was better than any home inspector I’ve ever hired (and she took the time to walk through with our inspector as well). There were several times during the process where it was clear that she could have closed the sale and we would have been perfectly happy, but Tiffany was working so effectively behind the scenes (she’s a great communicator among her peers) she produced extra gains for us above and beyond our satisfaction. All of this was done with a sharp and expert eye for preserving the transaction - Tiffany advocated for us to the nth degree and also never came close to putting the house we wanted in jeopardy. As a result, we paid less than we thought we would for a property we love more than we thought we would. Our peaceful post-purchase feeling of having made both a great investment and buying a place we are thrilled to be in is almost entirely to Tiffany’s credit. High praise to be sure, and we are not soft on real estate agents we choose to represent us. We fired two Bend agents before Tiffany: one less busy and intensely interested in helping us but not experienced or connected enough; the other the local high volume super agent who couldn’t find time for us and made us feel like we were in a process of being closed. Tiffany Vasquez was perfect by comparison, and if we buy or sell again in Bend for us there is no better choice of agent. Thanks Tiffany!
