Cairn and Trailhead are Tetherow’s vacation-home neighborhoods. Trailhead is recorded in Deschutes County records as “Trailhead at Tetherow Phase 1,” and the adjoining vacation-home plats are recorded as “Tetherow Vacation Homes Phase IA” and “Phases IB and II.”
These are lower-maintenance homes with full access to the resort, minutes from downtown and with the national forest out the back, built for owners who use Bend part-time. If you want a home that can work while you are away, this is usually where a search here starts.
