DD Ranch – A Fall Favorite for Families
We’re starting with a spot that’s especially close to our hearts: DD Ranch in Terrebonne. More than just a pumpkin patch, DD Ranch is a full fall adventure with hayrides, a petting zoo, and a corn maze for the whole family. What makes DD Ranch even more special for us is our annual Pumpkin Palooza, held there every October. This year’s event, on October 6th, was our biggest yet, with over 150 attendees and 88 kiddos enjoying goodie bags and fall festivities. If you’re looking for a place that offers fun, family activities, and picture-perfect pumpkins, DD Ranch is your go-to this season.
Tip: Don’t forget to take in the Hay Ride – you get to feed mama cows and take in the views. Kids love it!
Smith Rock Ranch – Pumpkins with a View
A bit bigger and busier but another local favorite is Smith Rock Ranch in Terrebonne, just down the road from DD Ranch. Famous for its beautiful backdrop of Smith Rock and its family-friendly activities like the pumpkin cannon and the Corn Maize, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking to make fall memories. With over 60 varieties of pumpkins to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect one!
Schilling’s Garden Market – A Cozy Local Favorite
If you’re staying closer to Bend, don’t miss Schilling’s Garden Market. Their “Patch with a View” is open from September 27th to October 31st, offering a great selection of pumpkins, mums, and fall decorations. Kids can enjoy a small hay maze, while parents browse for fall décor. It’s the perfect quick stop to grab everything you need to make your home feel like fall.
