As it's name states River West is primarily located on the West Side of the Deschutes River in Bend. River West is home to some favorite places to dine, sip, ride and play. You can cruise the Deschutes River Trail to favorite playgrounds like Columbia or Harmon Park or float in the white water park. Along the way their are tons of yummy places to dine or sip at all along Galveston and Newport Avenues.

River West is one of the older neighborhoods in Bend. Charming historic cottages are mixed with new remodled homes close to the river alond Columbia, Galveston and Newport Avenues. The West Hills is neighborhood along the base of Awbrey Butte with homes primarily built in the 1950s. Newport Hills is a neighborhood built in the 1990s located West of SW Century.
