BEND’S MARKET SNAPSHOT Here’s my take on the stats and vibe from what I see daily out in the market. Inventory: Increased from 417 to 536 homes in the past month. This trend is expected to continue as the Summer market arrives. Sellers: It is all about price and presentation. Homes that are strategically priced and marketed well are selling quickly. Unless priced well, homes that need updates are sitting longer. Buyers are looking for move-in ready homes. Higher interest rates are tightening buyers’ budgets, leaving them with less cash for improvements. 🤔 Buyers: Be selective and calculated on what you are getting for your dollar. The increased inventory is a breath of fresh air, offering more options and less competition but sought after areas still are in high demand. Many properties are listed too high, as they were listed at prices based on comparable sales from before the increased inventory and competition.
